Wanda Conlin
Wanda Conlin is the Community Affairs Director of the East Fort Worth Business Association for 2003.
Wanda Conlin has a long involvement of service to the community. She served nine years as chairman of the City of Fort Worth Planning Commission, President of Shakespeare In The Park board, President of East Fort Worth Business Association, Board of Goals for East Fort Worth, Board of Stage West and numerous committee positions. At present she serves on the Zoning Commission of Fort Worth and the board of East Fort Worth Business Association.
During her years of service, she has received many awards including, Planning Advocate of the Year by The American Planning Association, Outstanding Citizen of East Fort Worth by the East Fort Worth Business Association, and Outstanding Woman in Government by the East Fort Worth Commission on Status of Women. Her most recent honor was the first award given for Special Leadership by East Fort Worth Business Association.
Partnering with her son, Jim, Wanda became a newspaper owner five years ago. As a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, she writes about and covers news for East Fort Worth.
