Julie Truax
Julie Truax is the Events Committee Director of the East Fort Worth Business Association for 2003. Julie has had many years of involvement on the East side of Fort Worth. She started her career working as a manager of Skillern Drug Stores and then purchased Nature's Way Health Food Store from Marc Meines in 1990.
Julie's involvement in the East side does not stop in her retail store. She became involved in establishing the first Code Blue Storefront for East Fort Worth. From there she was elected President of the first CAC for East Fort Worth.
Julie continues to be actively involved in numerous fund raisers for the community and is always supportive of our local officials. She has served on numerous planning committees for neighborhood events to help boost community morale and to raise awareness of our local businesses and the community in general.
