Louis McBee

Louis McBee was elected president of the East Fort Worth Business Association in 2002. Louis is serving a two year term which will be complete at the end of 2003.

Mr. McBee moved to Fort Worth in 1983 after selling his company, Fluid Power Southwest, in Richardson, Texas. After selling the company, he worked for a German manufacturer of industrial and oil field automation controls until being hired by Tarrant County Clinical Services to establish a marketing program for their IBM AS400 based billing and management software.

Mr. McBee formed American Medical Management in 1994 at the request of a client who needed financial, collection and management assistance with their medical practice. From that modest beginning he and business partner Mr. Dean Hatch formed AmeriMed Enterprises, Inc. in 1996 to encompass American Medical Management and Meadowbrook Hair Place and Boutique. American Medical Management was formed to encompass current medical accounts receivable management services, in-house training for medical billing/accounting and data management. The company has become a specialist in ambulance/emergency medical services billing and accounting. Even with this specialization, the company also has extensive Accounts Receivable management experience in the following medical fields:

Meadowbrook Hair Place and Boutique was established as a thirteen operator salon with a fashion boutique occupying the front third of the salon, offering high end ladies clothing, jewelry and accessories. All of the cosmetologists in the salon are independent contractors who lease their station from the company
