The City of Fort Worth is inviting residents to learn more about the upcoming 2026 Bond & Charter Election, taking place on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

As part of the public education effort, the City will host a series of community meetings across Fort Worth to provide information on the proposed $845 million bond program and the nine proposed amendments to the City charter that will appear on the May 2 ballot.

These meetings are designed to help residents better understand the items being presented for voter consideration. Community members will have the opportunity to hear more about the bond proposal, review charter amendment information, and stay informed ahead of election day.

Residents can also access information online through the City of Fort Worth’s website at fortworthtexas.gov. According to the flyer, the meetings will also be available live on the City of Fort Worth YouTube channel and on the City’s TV website at fortworthtexas.gov/FWTV.

Make plans to attend a meeting and stay informed ahead of the May 2 election.
