Mitch Whitten is chief operating office at Visit Fort Worth, the non-profit that promotes economic development through tourism.

He supports teams dedicated to selling and hosting conventions, marketing the city, the Fort Worth Sports Commission and the Fort Worth Film Commission. A resident of Fort Worth for 30 years, Mitch supports community-based tourism so that the local community is involved in and benefits from the visitor economy.
